Type of Green House: Explain Winter and Summer Green House

Types of greenhouses

In this article we will learn about the Type of Green House: Explain Winter and Summer Green House. The different types of greenhouses are given below.

1. Attached greenhouse:

It can be combined with any building system.

2. Porch type greenhouse:

This can be designed at the entrance to a home, factory, or office.

3. Freestanding greenhouse:

It can be set up where needed on unusable lands.

4. Pit type greenhouse:

It is commonly used to block heat in various positions or on sloping ground.

5. Cold frame type greenhouse:

It is set towards a warm mattress or plant with a sloping roof.

Types Of Greenhouse

Depending on the climatic conditions, greenhouse systems can be classified into two types. They are

1. Winter greenhouse
2. Summer greenhouse

1. Winter greenhouse

The model structure of the winter greenhouse is shown. Winter greenhouses are set up in countries where the outside temperature is lower than the temperature required for plant growth. Therefore, the focus is on taking in the heat coming from the sun. So, the south side is usually made of glass, sometimes glazed on both sides and the inside of the wall on the north side is painted white.

Types Of Greenhouse

Movable insulation is used with reflective glass with a single layer on the east and west side windows. More will be set up. Thus, storage facilities will be created to meet the demand in the absence of sunlight, which prevents unwanted thermal energy. Most of these greenhouses are made of double glazing on the south and north exterior walls.

2. Summer greenhouse

The structure of the summer greenhouses is shown in the picture. Summer greenhouses are set up in countries where the outdoor temperature is higher than the temperature required for plant growth. Characteristics of summer weather are high atmospheric temperature, the sky is clear and high humidity. Therefore, the greenhouse is set so that the indoor temperature is not too high.

Types Of Greenhouse

The windows are used to cool the greenhouse with free convection. Also, the wall on the south side is covered with easily removable insulation. At the same time, the required sunlight will be allowed through the east and west outer walls.

The interior of the north wall will be painted with reflective paint. If the outside temperature is high, pipes can be embedded in the south wall. Then, evaporative cooling takes place when there is outside air through the wet mattress using a blower.
