What Is Turbulent Flow

In this article, we will learn about Turbulent Flow.

Turbulent flow:

If a fluid line in a pipeline goes to one another without going through its own path, we call it the turbulent flow. In which eddies are formed. So much energy is wasted. This flow takes place in the following places.

1. The fluid must have low viscosity. 2. The fluid must move at high speed. 3. Reynold’s number of the liquid must be over 4000.

Turbulent Flow

Example:

1.Atmosphere Flow of Pumps 2. The flow of Pumps 3. Water Flow in Rivers 4. Water Flow in Falls

Uniform flow:

If the velocity and direction of the current do not vary with time, we call it uniform flow.

Example:

Water flow in a pipe or channel with a constant cross-section

Non – uniform flow:

If the velocity and direction of the current vary with time, we call it non – uniform flow.

Example:

The flow of water in Elbow pipe
